Bethlehem A.D. is a free community event that is open to all.  It is our gift to you, your family, and community.  It is our hope and prayer that you will make this a cherished family tradition for years to come!

With a cast of over 300 participants and volunteers, exotic animals such as camels, Brahma bulls, and lamas, more than 10,000 fresh made doughnuts, and various other administrative overhead, such as security, food, publications, etc., the cost to produce Bethlehem A.D. is not insignificant.  All participants are non-paid volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to share the Good News through this unique opportunity.

It has been through the generous support of churches, civic groups, local businesses, and hundreds of sojourners to Bethlehem that we've been able to produce 17 years of what has become a Redwood City tradition.  Without this and your support, Bethlehem A.D. could not be produced, leaving a void in one of the most powerful recreations of the first Christmas night.

Tapestry Church, the creator and primary sponsor of Bethlehem A.D., is a designated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the IRS.  Each dollar donated to producing this event is tax-deductible.  If you own or manage a business who might be able to provide goods or services to the production of Bethlehem A.D., please let us know as there are a number of goods that are required each year.  (Ever wonder how many pounds of flour or gallons of milk it take to make over 10,000 doughnut?  How about how many pounds of alfalfa a horse will eat in a day?)
