Bethlehem A.D. will not be produced this year.  We've had a wonderful 15 years together, recreating the sights, smells, and emotions of that first Christmas night over 2,000 years ago.  With a cast of over 250 volunteers, we were able to create a glimpse of what it might have been like for a little baby—wrapped in "swaddling cloths"—to be born in a manger, Roman centurions enforcing Cesar's decree for a nationwide census, and shepherds tending their sheep at night being interrupted by the thousands of angles in the sky proclaiming, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

We will be taking this time to rest and reflect on the countless thousands who have been touched by and made Bethlehem A.D. part of their Christmas tradition.  It is our prayer that the same gift of God that was given to us on that first Christmas night, who literally changed the course of world history, will come in and change the hearts and minds of men and women throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and world this year.
